Have you always wanted to conduct an oral history with a relative or friend, but aren’t sure where to start? Join historian Natalie Marine-Street (PhD 2016), the manager of the Stanford Historical Society Oral History Program, for an introductory workshop that will get you started.

This interactive zoom session will cover oral history methodology and best practices; preparing for an interview; interview question design; and interviewing tips and tricks. We’ll also address special considerations for family oral history interviews; recording technologies; and the preservation of oral history materials.

Event is hosted by the Stanford Historical Society and sponsored by SAPAAC.
