Welcome the Year of the Rooster with a tour of the Asian Art Museum sponsored by the Stanford Club of Washington (SCW) and Stanford Asian Pacific American Alumni Club (SAPAAC). Our docent will guide us through the current exhibits: one featuring Tabaimo, a globally-acclaimed Japanese artist known for her immersive and thought-provoking video installations; Ai Weiwei's Colored Vases; and Terratopia: the Chinese Landscape in Painting and Film.
Afterward, we’ll gather for an optional lunch at the Regent Bakery and Cafe, serving a unique selection of baked goods and traditional Hong Kong-style food. Please note that lunch is not included in the price. The tour is limited to 30 people, so register early. The Museum will undergo a major renovation soon! There’s no better time to visit this Art Deco building before it’s closed till 2019.
